Laurie is an artist and author/ illustrator living in Boothbay, Maine. She finds and celebrates the whimsy in life! With a spirit of childlike wonder, she loves to fill her art with beauty and unexpected turns. Her favorite medium is watercolor, with the occasional additions of salt, ink, gouache and colored pencil. She also dabbles in photography.

Laurie has a degree in studio art from Middlebury College and earned a Masters in Art Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
